Join us for the highly anticipated UNITED Final and Closing Event, which will also feature the presentation of our follow-up project, ULTFARMS. The event will take place during the 1st Mission Arena organized by Blue Mission BANOS on November 14-16 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

This exciting gathering aims to inspire, engage, and support stakeholders from the Baltic and North Sea regions in their efforts to achieve a carbon-neutral and circular Blue Economy by 2030, aligning with EU Mission Ocean’s objectives. Through interactive sessions, workshops, pitching events, and more, we will pave the way for innovative solutions and showcase regional approaches that foster a sustainable blue economy.

The event will focus on themes such as blue food, aquaculture, renewable energy, citizen engagement, and more. It will also provide valuable insights into enablers for the blue transition, financing models, regulations, and decision-making processes.

We extend a warm invitation to all stakeholders active or interested in the Baltic and North Sea regions to join us, contribute, and be part of this transformative experience. Registration details and further information will be available soon. Save the date, and stay tuned for updates on this remarkable event, where we will also present the promising follow-up project, ULTFARMS. Together, let’s shape a sustainable future for our oceans and the Blue Economy.

5th Baltic MSP Forum – Session 9: Effective Use of Space for a Sustainable Blue Economy

Session 9: Effective Use of Space for a Sustainable Blue Economy: Baltic Approaches to Multi-Use in Marine and Coastal Areas With growing spatial demands from offshore energy, marine nature protection, and maritime security sectors, clearly defined solutions to enable their co-existence through exclusive or multi-use option in sea space are needed.
