ULTFARMS is set to be presented at the high-level forum on “Energy Security in the Context of Europe’s Changing Geopolitical Landscape”, organized by the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS), the German Federal Foreign Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, and the German Energy-Agency (dena). This important forum is aimed at giving a strong boost to Baltic offshore wind energy and developing an integrated renewable energy system in the region.

The forum will bring together stakeholders from governments, the private sector, and civil society from all CBSS member states. Discussions will focus on critical issues at the intersection of energy and security policies, such as best practices and remaining challenges in the upscaling of offshore wind energy. ULTFARMS is excited to be showcased at the event, which will be hosted by Annalena Baerbock, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, and Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Denmark.

With the support of this high-level forum and the participation of industry experts, ULTFARMS aims to contribute to the development of sustainable energy solutions and drive progress towards a more sustainable future.

5th Baltic MSP Forum – Session 9: Effective Use of Space for a Sustainable Blue Economy

Session 9: Effective Use of Space for a Sustainable Blue Economy: Baltic Approaches to Multi-Use in Marine and Coastal Areas With growing spatial demands from offshore energy, marine nature protection, and maritime security sectors, clearly defined solutions to enable their co-existence through exclusive or multi-use option in sea space are needed. Cross-sectoral coordination – both at sea and along the coast – is fundamental; for example, ports and coastal communities may find new opportunities through integrated land-sea planning for multi-use.
