The ULTFARMS team was very happy to welcome the Euronews film team of Denis Loctier and Thierry Winn at one of the German pilot nearshore sites.
At the site, macroalgae cultivation of brown, and most recently green seaweeds are being investigated, thanks to the help by pupils from the local school of the Lernwerft – Club of Rome School and the supervision by the Research and Development Centre Kiel GmbH.
The current summer strain performs great under the warm temperatures and has already grown substantially, considering its recent deployment, only two weeks ago.
